Our neon shirts are different that the high-vis shirts we are offering.  We want you to be aware of the differences and to be able to choose the best shirt for your purpose.

About Neon:

The neon shirts we offer are made the same way they were made in the 1980's when the  hot neons were all the rage.  We use a soft 100% cotton shirt that is pigment dyed.  This process has a very soft feel and has a shirt that ages and softens over time.  With that, there is a fading of the dye to softer tones of the neons. These garments are very visible, but are mostly intended for fashion wear. Softening of the color starts with the first washing.

About Hi-Vis:

The high visibility shirts are offering are mostly made of a 50% cotton, 50% polyester blend. These garments are dyed with fiber-reactive dyes to ensure bright consistent color for much longer periods. The polyester content helps these garments to maintain the colors longer than a 100% cotton garment would and also helps to reduce wrinkles. The high-visibility green and orange are designed for maximum visibility. These shirts can be worn by anyone, but are made to be a work shirt.  Insurance regulations by many companies require high visibility garments and these shirts help to meet that requirement.
